Who is Dvir Abramovich?
Dvir Abramovich is an Australian Jewish studies academic, columnist and editor. Abramovich is a graduate of Monash University and The University of Melbourne and is currently Director of the Program for Jewish Culture and Society at The University of Melbourne. A leading specialist instructor in Hebrew language and literature, the bulk of his research focuses on modern Israel and Hebrew literature, culture and society, the Second Generation of Holocaust survivors, reconciliation between Jews and Muslims, Israelis and Palestinians and the role of religion. He is considered the country's Jewish studies leading academic and one of the world's foremost experts on Hebrew and Israeli literature.
