Edward Michael Hanyzewski was an American professional baseball player, a right-handed pitcher who worked in 58 games in the Major Leagues between 1942 and 1946 for the Chicago Cubs. He threw and batted right-handed, stood 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed 200 pounds and attended the University of Notre Dame.
Hanyzewski's best Major League season came in 1943, when he appeared in 33 games
