Who is Edgar Baumann?
Edgar Baumann Duran is a retired male javelin thrower from Paraguay, who represented his native country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He set his personal best on October 10, 1999 at a meet in San Marcos, Texas, setting a South American record. Baumann was the first South American athlete who had thrown over 80 metres in the javelin throw.
