Who is Edward A. Washburn?
Rector of Calvary Church in New York City during the late 1800's. A portrait of Rev. Dr. Washburn was painted by Daniel Huntington, who was influenced by the pastor. The painting once hung above the fireplace on the east end of the Washburn Memorial Library Hall at Union College, New York. Whereabouts of the painting are still a mystery.
