Elio Cruz is a Gibraltarian playwright, writing both in English and Llanito. He was one of the cofounders of the «Theatre Group 56» and author of the two most successful plays staged in Gibraltar:La Lola se va pa Londre and Connie con cama camera en el comedor, both in the 1960s.
