Who is Elisabeth Köstinger?
Elisabeth Köstinger is an Austrian member of the European Parliament and sits on the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development and the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality. Köstinger is also a substitute and vice spokeswoman of the European People's Party of the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety as well as vice-president of the South Caucasus Delegation. She is a member of the Austrian People's Party.
On the 18th of march in 2014, Köstinger was awarded with the MEP Award in he category of Agriculture and Rural Development. She has been nominated for her “very professional manner” during the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy, which she “mastered” as shadow rapporteur.
She is unmarried and lives in St. Paul, Carinthia.
