Who was Elling Olsson Walbøe?
Elling Olsson Walbøe was a Norwegian farmer and politician from Ørskog. He represented Romsdals amt at the Norwegian Constituent Assembly in 1814, together with Hilmar Meincke Krohg and Jens Stub. Walbøe was the architect for at least three octagonal churches: Leikanger Church and Innvik Church still exist, previous Hareid Church was demolished.
