Who is Erika Stewart?
Erika Stewart Layne is an American swimmer of Colombian origin, who specialized in medley events. Stewart represented Colombia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in the women's 200 m individual medley event. She swam in the first heat, with an impressive personal best time of 2:18.54, finishing in second place and thirty-second overall.
Stewart is also a member of Marlins of Raleigh swim team in her home state North Carolina, and a varsity swimmer at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.
