Ernie Newton, born Ernest F. Newton, and calls himself "the Moses of his people"is a politician representing the Democratic Party from Bridgeport, Connecticut. He was a Connecticut State Senator for 18 years until he was incarcerated for political corruption. Newton was voted out by State Majority Democrats with a 24-12 vote.
