Who is Estella Leopold?

Estella B. Leopold is a botanist and a conservationist. Her work done with the United States Geological Survey aided in uncovering records of plant life from the Miocene around the Eniwetok and Bikini Atolls in the southern region of the Pacific Ocean and from the Cenozoic era in the Rocky Mountains. Leopold's work as a conservationist includes taking legal action to help save a fossil bed in Colorado, and fighting pollution. She is the daughter of Aldo Leopold.
