Who is Faith Friday Obilor?
Faith Friday Obilor is a Nigerian-born footballer who plays as a defender. Obilor represents RoPS.
In 2011 he came from Nigeria to join PS Kemi in Finnish 2nd league Ykkönen. He changed clubs after the first season as PS Kemi was relegated and continued to play in Ykkönen another year. At RoPS Obilor and his fellow Nigerian central defender Nduka Alison conceded together only 9 goals during the whole season and RoPS secured a promotion to Veikkausliiga 6 rounds before the end with a massive margin to the runner-up.
At the time of securing the promotion the transfer window was still open and Faith Friday made a switch to FC Inter, a candidate for the Finnish Championship in 2012 together with HJK and TPS. Obilor made his first appearance in the Finnish top flight at the age of 21 against MyPa and kept his goal clean in a 0-0 draw.
In the summer of 2012, Urheilulehti rated Faith Friday as the best player in Ykkönen.
