Who was Felipe Antonio Spinola, 4th Marquis of the Balbases?

Carlo Filippo Antonio Spinola y Colonna, 4th marquis of the Balbases, Viceroy of Sicily, 1707–1713, during the European military conflict known as Spanish Succession War holding the kingdom of Sicily for pretender, after recognized as king of Spain, Philip V of Spain. He was 4th Duke of Sesto, a member since 1686 of the Military Order of Santiago, the son, out of 3 males/9 females siblings, of Paolo Spinola, 3rd Marquis of the Balbases, Governor of the Duchy of Milan, 1668 - 1670.

His mother, Anna Colonna, was a daughter of Marcantonio V Colonna, who described himself as Prince of Paliano during the period 1639 - 1659. The Princedom title was held by Anna Colonna's brother, Lorenzo Onofrio Colonna during the period 1659 - 1689.

He married, Madrid, 20 September 1682, Isabel María de la Cerda y Aragón, a daughter of Juan Francisco de la Cerda, 8th Duke of Medinaceli, and Catalina de Aragón-Folch de Cardona, duchess of Cardona, duchess of Segorbe, duchess of Lerma, having 2 sons and 7 daughters, as well as three bastards, one male, 2 females.
