Who is Fred Goodwin?
Fred Goodwin was an English professional footballer who played as an outside forward. He joined Football League First Division side Burnley in November 1906. He played his only league match for the club on 8 December 1906 in the 1–2 defeat against Stockport County at Edgeley Park. It was the only match of the 1906–07 season that regular outside-left Albert Smith missed, as Goodwin was unable to replace him in the starting line-up. He left Burnley in December 1906.
