Georg Otto ist ein pensionierter Oberstudienrat aus Eberholzen, der Mitbegründer der politischen Partei Die Grünen war. Ferner begründete er die Quartalszeitschrift „Alternativen". Noch heute ist Otto der Sprecher des liberal-sozialen Flügels der Grünen und Vorsitzender der „Aktion Dritter Weg“.
