Who was George Edwards?
George Edwards (born May 11, 1943) was an American composer, and MacDowell Professor Emeritus of Music at Columbia University. He graduated from Oberlin College, and from Princeton University with an MFA in Music Composition in 1967. He taught at the New England Conservatory of Music and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a member of the American Composers Alliance.
