Who is George Papageorgiou?

George Papageorgiou is an American football coach and former player in the United States. He presently is an assistant coach at Benedictine College. Papageorgiou served as the head football coach at Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas from 1995 to 1999, compiling a record of 18–29. His players affectionately refer to him as "Coach Pops" or "Pops". He his known within the Benedictine ranks as a source of witticism and humor, many of sayings recorded as "Popisms".
