Who was George Suppiah?
George Suppiah was an Asian football referee and the first Asian referee at the World Cup Finals which took place in West Germany in 1974 between Poland and Haiti international teams. Suppiah began his referee career in 1953 and expanded all over Asia and Europe but ended his football career in 1978.
