Who is Gilles Samoun?
Gilles Samoun is a French entrepreneur, pioneer and strong advocate of software as a service since he founded Qualys in early 1999. Between 2010 and 2012 he was been Chairman and CEO of NTRGlobal a SaaS company founded in Barcelona, Spain. He holds a Master degree in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Paris 6.
Prior to NTRglobal Gilles Samoun has been CEO of Fotopedia in 2009, Solsoft between 2003 and 2006, Qualys between 1999 and 2001 and MediaPath Technologies Inc in 1998. In 2001 he was Entrepreneur In Residence at Benchmark Capital in London in between 2001 and 2002.
Gilles Samoun also seats on the Board of Directors of CipherCloud Criteo 2007-2009, Jolicloud and CloudWork.
