Who is Glenn Robinson III?

Glenn Alan Robinson III is an American basketball player who currently plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Association. Robinson played college basketball for the Michigan Wolverines for two years ending with the 2013–14 team. He was an All-State high school basketball player for Lake Central High School in Indiana. Robinson was drafted 40th overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2014 NBA draft. He is the son of Glenn Robinson, the 1994 NBA first overall draft pick.

In high school, he committed to the University of Michigan before his junior season while he was still a three-star prospect ranked outside of the top 100 in the national class of 2012, according to Rivals.com. By the end of his high school career, he was a five-star top 20 prospect in the national class, according to some, including Rivals and ESPN.com. Nonetheless, he was overlooked by many prestigious honors selectors, but he did appear in some national All-American contests. Subsequently, he began his college career at Michigan where he was an immediate starter for the 2012–13 team.
