Who is Gwyn Thomas?
Gwyn Thomas is a retired Welsh footballer who played as a midfielder in the 1970s and 1980s.
After starting his career with West End F.C. in Swansea he joined Leeds United, making his debut for them in 1974-75. He made 103 appearances for Leeds before transferring to Barnsley in March 1984.
Thomas went on to make over 200 league appearances for Barnsley until the 1989-90 season, when he joined Hull City. He later played for Carlisle United.
