Who is H.E Dr. Mohammed Abdul Majeed Qubaty?
H.E Dr. Mohammed Abdul Majeed Qubaty is a Yemeni politician born in Aden in 1958. He is a well known figurehead in Yemen, who is very famous for "practicing politics with a scalpel" as a consequence of being a really successful surgeon as well as a brilliant orator and politician. He is currently the Advisor of the Yemeni Prime Minister and is also the Deputy Chairman of the Southern Civil Democratic Rally.
He quit his position as Head of the ruling party's foreign affairs committee on 23 May 2010 and he held previous political positions such as the Ambassador of Yemen to Lebanon and Cyprus between the years 2003 and 2007.
He is married to the daughter of General Mohamed Kaid Saif and has three children from her: Basem Qubaty, Alya Qubaty and Shady Qubaty.
