Hans Alexis von Biehler - was a Prussian general of the Infantry. He designed fortifications. Beginning in 1873 he oversaw fort construction in Cologne, Strasbourg, Poznań, Toruń, Königsberg, Ingolstadt, Metz, Kostrzyn, Spandau, Ulm, Mainz and Magdeburg.
