Who was Hans Steffen?
Hans Steffen Hoffman was a German geographer and explorer of Aysén Region in western Patagonia. Steffen did also work as teacher, encyclopedist and historian. Steffen Glacier on the Northern Patagonian Ice Field is named after him.
