Who is Harold Barbour?

Harold Barbour was a unionist politician in Northern Ireland.

Barbour studied at Harrow School and the University of Oxford before becoming a company director. He was elected as an Irish Unionist Party county councillor, then served in the Senate of Northern Ireland from 1921 to 1929.

Barbour was also active in the co-operative movement in Ireland, and his photographs of rural north and west Ireland in the early years of the 20th-century have been widely exhibited.
