Who is Harry Brown?
Harry Brown is a Republican member of the North Carolina General Assembly. He represents the state's sixth Senate district, which consists of Jones and Onslow counties.
Outside of politics, Brown is an automobile dealer. He first ran for the North Carolina House as a Democrat in 2002, but was unsuccessful.
Brown defeated Democratic incumbent Cecil Hargett in the 2004 elections. He retained his seat by beating challenger Carolyn Pittman-Dorsey in 2006.
