Who is Harry Nuttall?

Sir Harry Nuttall, 4th Baronet is a British auto racing driver who inherited the Nuttall Baronetcy in 2007 after the death of his father Sir Nicholas Nuttall. His racing career has seen him compete in the British Formula Renault Championship and the British Touring Car Championship.

In 2002, he fathered an illegitimate son, with Birgit Cunnigham, the Green Party activist who later achieved notoriety by exposing her affair with Tory Minister Lord Strathclyde. In a high profile public battle, Cunningham claimed that Nuttall had originally treated her as his partner and promised to support the child, but when she telephoned him to inform him that she had given birth, he shouted :"How can you be so bloody insensitive? I’m getting married this weekend!" Despite establishing paternity, Cunningham failed to win child support. She had repeatedly campaigned on the issue, accusing Nuttall of being a leading example of wealthy fathers hiding their assets in court in attempt to avoid paying maintenance. Famously, Cunningham claimed that the judge overseeing the case had asked her "Do you seriously expect Mr Nuttall to sell his rifles for child maintenance?"
