Who was Haru Asada?
Haru Asada was the Japanese concubinage of Dr. Sun yat-sen, the founder of the Republic of China.
Asada was born in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, who could speak fluent Chinese and English. She encountered Sun when she worked as a maid in Sun's house in Yokohama. But after Sun married with Kaoru Otsuki in 1904, their love relationship broke up. Asada died in 1912.
