Who is Hazrat Mastan Vali?
Mastan Vali was a Muslim Sufi holy man considered by followers in Anantapur district, India, to be a saint. Mastan Vali seems to have first appeared in the village around 1855. Nothing is known of his parentage or his real name. At first he went about naked in all kinds of weather, never spoke to anyone, and lived in the forests, mountains and burial grounds, subsisting on leaves, wild fruit and roots.
