Who is Hee Tien Lai?
Dr Hee Tien Lai is a Malaysian politician of the national front, Barisan Nasional. He contested the Malaysia General Election 1978 for the seat in Ayer Hitam, Johor. He is one of the deputy speakers of the Dewan Rakyat from June 14, 1982 till July 26, 1983. He is a graduate of Batu Pahat High School, the same high school where Lim Kit Siang, Lim Guan Eng,Dato Sri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun, Dr. Chua Soi Lek and other prominent figures studied. He later resigned to migrate to Australia.
