Who is Helen Kemp?
Helen Kemp is a children's choir clinician who has written several books on the subject including Of Primary Importance. She has been influential in the birth and success of Choristers Guild. Kemp attended Westminster Choir College.
In memory of Kemp's husband, a yearly endowment was established called the Kemp Symposium. She participates in this with her children every year in the Fall Semester at Westminster. Kemp always conducts the final segment of the day-long seminar about church music.
