Who was Henry Harrison Walker?
Henry Harrison Walker was a Confederate States Army brigadier general during the American Civil War. He was born in Sussex County, Virginia. He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York in 1853 and served as an officer in the United States Army from 1853 to 1861. Walker was wounded twice during the war and lost his left foot. After the war, he became an investment broker at Morristown, New Jersey where he lived until 1912.
