Who was Herbert Money?
Herbert Money was a pioneering educator who had a significant and lasting impact on the growth and life of the evangelical church in Peru and South America. During 40 years of service in Peru Money diligently laid the foundations for what is now a vigorously growing evangelical church. He became known variously, in Peru, as 'The General' or 'The King' but the view he had of himself was more modest – as he lay ill in a hospital bed in the 95th year of his life, he repeated with confidence the words of Paul ' I know in whom I have believed'.
