Ioan Oltean is a Romanian lawyer and politician. A member of the Democratic Liberal Party, he was a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Bistriţa-Năsăud County from 1990 to 1992 and since 1996. In the Victor Ciorbea cabinet, he was Minister of Water, Forests and Environment from 1996 to 1997.
