Who is István Szabó?
István Szabó is a Hungarian sprint canoer who competed from the early 1970s to the mid-1980s. Competing in three Summer Olympics, he won two medals in the K-2 1000 m event with a silver in 1980 and a bronze in 1976.
Szabó also won sixteen medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with five golds, six silvers, and five bronzes.
