John Kenneth "Jack" McLean was a rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1940s and '50s, playing representative level rugby union for New Zealand, King Country Rugby Football Union, and Auckland Rugby Football Union, and at club level for, Taumarunui, and Thames United, as a Wing, i.e. number 11 or 14, and playing club level rugby league for Bradford Northern, as a Wing, i.e. number 2 or 5.
