Who is Jake Batchelor?
Jake Batchelor is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League.
Originally from the Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup, Batchelor was drafted to Richmond with their second selection, the 30th overall, in the 2010 AFL Draft.
Batchelor made his AFL debut in Round 1, 2011 against Carlton at the MCG. At the end of Round 16, 2011, he was nominated for the NAB AFL Rising Star award.
After North Melbourne's Nathan Grima kicked his first goal on the 18th of August, 2013, in his 72nd game, the longest streak of games by a current player without kicking a goal now goes to Batchelor.
