Jakob Finci

Who is Jakob Finci?

Jakob Finci is a prominent Bosnian Jew and a former Bosnia and Herzegovina's ambassador to Switzerland. He is considered to be the de facto leader of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Jewish community.

He also runs the charity Benevolencija.

He and Dervo Sejdić, a prominent Bosnian Roma and member of the member of Bosnia's Roma Council, have launched an appeal to the European Court of Human Rights on the basis that Bosnia's Constitution violates the European Convention on Human Rights.
