James Clifton

Who is James Clifton?

With over 25 years in the information technology industry, Clifton

has held numerous sales and management positions at Sun, including

Director of Civilian Agencies and United States Postal Service, as well

as Director of the Time Warner team that installed over $1 billion in

servers during Clifton's tenure at Sun. Currently Clifton is the

Director of Department of Defense for Sun Microsystems Federal, Inc.

Clifton is an active member of the Armed Forces Communications

Electronic Association (AFCEA), Navy League, Air Force Association

(AFA), Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and National

Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). He earned a Bachelor of Science

degree in Economics from the University of Maryland and served in the

United States Air Force.

Clifton lives with his wife Laura and son Christopher in Sykesville, Maryland.
