Who is James Gill?
James Gill is a graduate of the University of Liverpool who emigrated to the United States in 1977. In 1986, he became a columnist for the Times-Picayune, in New Orleans, Louisiana. In May 2013, it was announced that Gill has left the Times-Picayune and has joined the staff of a competing Louisiana newspaper, The Advocate, where his column will appear on Tuesdays and Sundays.
