Who is James Jelley?
James Jelley was an Australian politician. He was a member of the South Australian Legislative Council from 1912 to 1933, representing the Australian Labor Party. He served as Minister for Railways and Chief Secretary in the administrations of John Gunn and Lionel Hill, and then as Chief Secretary and Marine Minister and Minister for Immigration, Irrigation, Local Government and Repatriation in Hill's second period of premiership.
