Who is James Roberts?

James joined Horatio in July 2011 having enjoyed various roles across the financial services industry in both London and the South West.

Before moving to the West Country in 2007 James spent many years working in the City. After becoming a Chartered Accountant, specialising in Insurance and Investment Management, in a Big 4 accounting firm James moved to one of the world’s largest reinsurance brokers becoming heavily involved in acquisitions and the raising of both debt and equity finance. Prior to joining Horatio James then spent a number of years working for a listed financial services company initially in the Mergers and Acquisitions sphere and then, more latterly, as the Finance and Operations Director of their Financial Planning business.
