Who is Jamie Bennett?
Jamie Bennett is an entrepreneur from Aberdeen, Scotland.
In 1995 Bennett founded Atlas Interactive Limited, an international oil and gas technology business. The company created online learning programmes specifically for the oil and gas industry including a safety diagnostic e-learning programme known as Minimum Industry Safety Training, which has been applied across the UK oil and gas industry on behalf of industry body OPITO - The Oil and Gas Academy. Bennett sold Atlas Interactive to private equity company HgCapital in 2007 and left the business in 2009 establishing Enerco Group Ltd, an entrepreneurial investment company focused on oil and gas technology businesses. Enerco Group from 2010 onwards has created and invested in a number of oil and gas related companies including Operational Excellence Group Ltd, Mintra Training Portal Ltd and Mintra Training Portal A.S.
