Who is Jan Muhammad A. Memon?
Jan Muhammed A Memon' obtained primary and secondary schooling in Tando Muhammad Khan, followed by MBBS at then Liaquat Medical College, with distinction in Surgery. He then pursued FRCS at the Royal College of Surgeons UK, qualifying in first attempt. He returned to Pakistan in 1979 and joined LMC as Assistant Professor of Surgery. He was also awarded Honorary FCPS by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan in 2003.
Memon was the founder Vice Chancellor of Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences Pakistan, the first ever public sector medical university in Pakistan.
Memon was also involved with CPSP initially as Advisor Academics with additional charge of Registrar CPSP and then Secretary CPSP.
