Who was Jane Jefferson Bell?
Jane Jefferson Bell was the daughter of Thomas Lewis Jefferson IV and Jane Fisher Jefferson. She was her mother's second child and her father's first child. (Both of her parents were married more than one time.)
Jane J, Bell graduated from Rogers Hall School for girls in Lowell, Massachusetts.
She then attended Bennett Junior College and the University of Pennsylvania. Jane graduated with a degree in early child education,
For several years Jane worked as a kindergarten teacher in New England.
Jane Jefferson married Robert H, Bell in 1968. He worked for the Agency for International Development They lived for a time in South Korea and Kenya as part of his government employment.
Jane and Robert Bell had two children named Robert and Whitney.
Jane Bell passed away in 2017, many years after her husband had died. She was survived by her two children and a younger sister named Susan Fountain, as well as nephews and nieces.
Mrs. Jane Jefferson Bell also was interested in the Japanese art of flower arranging. She had won many awards for her floral designs.
