Who is Jay P. Greene?
Jay P. Greene has been the department head and 21st Century Chair in Education Reform at the University of Arkansas since 2005. Greene was a Senior Fellow for the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research. He is currently affiliated with the George W. Bush Presidential Center.
Greene has been a professor of political science at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston. He received his B.A. in history from Tufts University in 1988 and his Ph.D. from the Government Department at Harvard University in 1995. Greene authored the book Education Myths with Greg Forster and Marcus A. Winters in 2005. In 2011 he published the mini-book, Why America Needs School Choice.
