Jayanta Bandyopadhyay, is a professor, environmentalist and author. He has recently retired from his position as Professor and Head of the Center for Development and Environment Policy at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. An internationally renowned professional on public interest research and environmental policy, Bandyopadhyay has authored fourteen critically acclaimed books and monographs, in addition to 130 papers and articles. He has been invited as speaker and expert from various organizations and institutes in all parts of the world.
