Jean-Bernard Duvivier, was a painter and drawer of historical and religious subjects and portraits. Bookillustrator. Professor at the Normal School in Paris. After having been instructed by Hubert and Paul de Cock, and Suvée, he studied for six years in Italy, and his style is distinguished for beautiful composition, correct drawing, and bright colouring.
