Who is Jeffrey Snowden?
Jeffrey James Snowden is a former English cricketer. Snowden was a skillful, innovative and sometimes destructive right-handed batsman with a top score of over 200 in club cricket. He was also a fine wicketkeeper renowned for his bravery and 'soft' hands behind the stumps. Later in his career he also became a fine exponent of the art of swing bowling with the ability to bowl both in and outswingers with a devilish slower ball which fooled many Kent league batsmen. He was born at Dartford, Kent.
Snowden represented the Kent Cricket Board in a single List A match against the Hampshire Cricket Board in the 2001 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy. In a match ruined by rain, Snowden was not required to bat as the Kent Cricket Board were unable to play their innings.
