Who is Jennifer Faunce?
Jennifer M. Faunce is a judge of the Macomb County Circuit Court in Michigan. Previously she was a judge of the 37th District Court based in Warren Michigan from 2003-2013. Prior to this she served as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives for two terms being elected in 1998 and 2000, thus serving 1999-2003.
Faunce was born and raised in Warren, Michigan. Her father, Sherman Faunce, was for many years a judge of the district court in Warren. She has a bachelors degree from Michigan State University and a law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy.
From 1992-1998 Faunce was an assistant Macomb County Prosecutor. She was head of the juvenile crimes division for part of this time. For part of her time in the prosecutor's office she was chief of the juvenile division.
The district Faunce represented included Warren north of 12 Mile Road, the south-west part of Sterling Heights, and a little of Warren further south and Sterling Heights further east.
In 2003 Faunce became a judge of the 37th District Court. In July of 2013 Faunce was appointed a judge of the Macomb County Circuit Court by governor Rick Snyder.
