Who is Jeremy Page?

Jeremy Page is a British writer, poet and editor. He is the founding editor of The Frogmore Papers. He was born in Folkestone, Kent, in 1958 and attended the University of Warwick and the University of Bristol. He lived in Italy in the 1980s and now teaches at the University of Sussex.

His poetry and short stories have been published in magazines like Acumen, Aesthetica, Ambit, Magma and Seam, and in numerous anthologies. He has published four collections of poems, including The Alternative Version and most recently In and Out of the Dark Wood. His work has been translated into German and Romanian and has been published in Ireland, Germany and the United States. In 2011 the Ashley Press published his translations of Catullus's Lesbia poems as The Cost of All Desire.

He has read his work widely with poets such as Peter Reading, Judith Kazantzis, Hugo Williams and Grace Nichols.
